Lloyds Property Group
Press Releases

Judged at the prestigious Bentley International Property Awards to be the United Kingdom's Best Estate Agent in 2003 and 2005, Lloyds Property Group stand at the forefront of the property industry with their residential property division and also their local and national land division selling land ranging from single plots to massive urban redevelopment schemes.

As the area's premier estate agent for luxury and waterside properties, Lloyds Property Group and Managing Director Tom Doyle are widely credited for bringing this beautiful part of the South Coast of England to the world's attention.

When Lloyds Property Group first opened their prestigious/luxurious offices close to the shores of Poole Harbour, Sandbanks and the surrounding areas were virtually unknown. Soon, however, working closely with Poole Tourist Board, Lloyds spread the word and the area's reputation, along with its property prices began to grow.

However, things really took off when Lloyds sold a beachfront property that equated to £699 per sq ft, which put Sandbanks as fourth most expensive place to live in the world. Corcoran, the affiliated Lloyds office in New York, were preparing their International Report which at the time was seen as the benchmark for global property prices. Tom Doyle was able to persuade Managing Director, Barbara Corcoran, to include Sandbanks in the report, which was a major coup and really put Sandbanks on the global map. Impact was such that Lloyds and Sandbanks were featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal and subsequently in all national newspapers in the UK. The story was also featured on national television.
