Lloyds Land Division is well known within the building industry nationally, but perhaps not to the general public locally. We have a very successful Land Division situated over two floors above our Head Office, which has continually sold land ranging from single plots to massive urban redevelopment schemes for the past twenty years.

Nationally, Ray Borrett oversees our extensive client bank of some thousand developers with up to a hundred sites at any time all over the country, sourced and supplied by our regional land teams and connections, to enable us to feed the building industry with land.

Nearer to home Paul Fisher and James Timberlake assemble and acquire for developer clients and investors a variety of plots and sites ranging in price from a few hundred thousand pounds up to many millions. Development opportunities are sourced mainly in Dorset and Hampshire and frequently venture further afield into Devon, Wiltshire and Sussex to acquire specific sites for particular clients.

However, there are a wealth of opportunities closer to home to keep the land division busy uncovering exceptional development opportunities in the Bournemouth and Poole area. We pride ourselves by being in the forefront of technology, with the latest computerized satellite mapping system enabling accurate plot information.

We have a wealth of resources available, such as in-house and associated professionals including town planners, architects and structural engineers.

All of this, of course, is carried out under the watchful eye of our Chairman and Managing Director, Tom Doyle, who has a wealth of valuable connections with land owners and developers at the highest level.

We have luxuriously appointed suites where discussion and meetings can take place informally. When the occasion arises we can, of course, adjourn to the Board Room where many a negotiation has taken place and where many deals have been struck over the years.

Sometimes circumstances demand confidentiality and discretion. Whether it is visiting a sensitive location or choosing the right buyer to contact on a one to one basis, our clients trust us to do the best for them. This helps us to work in partnership with them to achieve sales at the best possible prices - often on sites that are unattainable elsewhere.

It would, perhaps, be immodest of us to mention our long standing clients by name but we can count many private individuals and companies - as well as some of the country's most prolific building developers - amongst them.

Of course, when a company is so passionate about its business, it is no surprise we are willing to go that extra mile. At various times we have flown to sites, sailed to them, driven miles to deliver contracts for them, and at the moment the record for the latest meeting (which was successful, we might add) is approximately 2.30am! On the other occasions in pursuit of a deal we have been attacked by wild animals, stranded in mud or soaked by torrential rain, but needless to say it is all in a days work!

Perhaps the nicest feeling of all is seeing land we have sold being built upon and the resulting new homes being purchased and eventually moved into by expectant new home owners. We have sold literally hundreds and hundreds of new homes over the years for our clients, ranging from starter homes up to multi-million pound designer houses and mansions as featured with Lloyds on various television programmes, newspaper articles and magazines such at Tatler, Hello! And Vogue.

We at Lloyds are always hungry for sites and all that possibly stands between you and realizing the true potential of your land is a telephone call. With or without planning permission, we are always on the lookout for property with potential and if you are looking for advice or thinking of selling, you will be in safe hands by contacting Lloyds Land Division.
